OVERVIEW

Terraria Server Hosting

Fast, DDoS-protected Terraria dedicated servers with vanilla, TShock, or tModLoader deployed at setup, plus the mod sync and plugin tooling community worlds need.

Vanilla, TShock, or tModLoader

Terraria hosting splits three ways. Vanilla is the base Journey's End experience with no extras. TShock adds permissions, warps, regions, and plugins for public servers that need admin control. tModLoader runs Calamity, Thorium, and other content mods where every player must match the server's modlist. Pick your server type at checkout and we deploy it configured.

One-Click Terraria Dedicated Server

Your Terraria server is live at checkout. No port forwarding on 7777, no wrestling config.txt by hand, and no separate install for TShock or tModLoader. Pick slots, choose your server type, and your group is mining ore in minutes.

tModLoader Mod Sync

tModLoader modded Terraria only works when server and every client run the same modlist. Install mods from the panel, restart, and share the mod pack with your group before you push into Moon Lord. Our wiki covers the client sync steps that block most first-time modded hosts.

TShock Plugins & Permissions

TShock is what public Terraria servers run for day-to-day admin: region protection, warp commands, boss spawn controls, and rank-based permissions. Configure from the panel and install the plugins your community server needs without rebuilding the server from scratch.

Always-Online World Progress

Terraria progression is built around shared exploration, boss kills, and base building across a large generated world. A dedicated server keeps your world running when nobody is online, so your group's progress on the Wall of Flesh, Plantera, and Moon Lord carries between sessions.

High-Performance Hosting

Terraria is light on RAM, so plans scale by player slots rather than memory tiers. Enterprise DDoS protection and automatic backups are included on every plan, so your world file survives griefing, crashes, and the downtime that kills public servers.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Terraria questions

Should I pick TShock, tModLoader, or vanilla?

Vanilla is the base game with no extras. TShock adds admin tools and plugins for server operators. tModLoader adds mod support for custom content. Pick your server type at checkout and we deploy it configured.

How do I install mods on a Terraria server?

On tModLoader, install mods from the panel and make sure every player runs the same modlist on their client. Vanilla and TShock servers do not use tModLoader mods.

What server commands can I use?

TShock and the live console give you ban, kick, warp, and permission commands. Our server commands guide lists the commands worth knowing for Terraria operators.

How many players can a Terraria server host?

Terraria is light on resources, so player slots are the main constraint. 8 slots suits a small group, 16 covers a busy world, and 32 fits larger communities.
